A purchased package includes the construction documents required for submitting to your local authorities to obtain a building permit. The construction document set contains the following: General, Building, and Thermal Notes, Vicinity Map, Site Plan, Foundation Plan, Floor Plan, Roof Framing Plan, Roof Plan, Exterior Elevations, Interior Sections, Wall Sections, Building Details, and a Schedule for Windows and Doors. A purchased packet also includes the renderings displayed on the website. Some homes feature interior renders, while others only include an exterior render. The high-resolution images provided will be in JPEG/PNG format.
■ After the purchase of the Construction Document Package, you will receive an email within 24 hours with confirmation that we received your order.
■ At this time, we will meet to discuss any changes that you are wanting to make to the plan.
■ Starr Studios requires 5-10 business days from date of purchase to the delivery of the final Construction Document Package, this ensures the time to include any changes made.
Starr Studios has included Washington State sales tax in the price of each packet. The tax will be reflected on your invoice after your purchase.
When you make your purchase, you will receive a complete set of construction documents. These documents can be used to apply for a building permit with the local authorities having jurisdiction in the project’s county. The plans can also be submitted to general contractors and subcontractors for project estimates or to your bank for loan financing. Please note that some local authorities may require your plans to be stamped or an engineer’s involvement. These additional services are not provided by Starr Studios, and you will need to obtain a local stamp from a firm licensed in your state.
